    One would expect that a victory against Oklahoma next week would mean more to the computers than the victory against Auburn this week.

    Admittedly it looks quite likely, but "done" is premature.

    I think by then the debate/discussion is a moot point, right? One team never even made it to the SECCG and the other at least got there but lost....in that event, a logical tie breaker would imply that LSU beat Bama at Bama....and yes, we would still play for all the marbles.

    There are still a few relevant games to be played. Don't count okie st out of it just yet. It would take a big margin of victory over chokelahoma, but that is still within reach.

    You would be correct.

    Oklahoma State will be ahead of Alabama in at least 5 of the 6 computer polls, guaranteeing a .960 to .920 spread. They just need to get to 5 of 6, don't need all 6 since the high and low are thrown out. In other words, Okie State needs to pass Bama in 3 of those 4 computer polls in which they are behind right now.

    Bama fans may be getting excited a bit prematurely.

    1/4 of the voters need to vote Okie State #2 and the rest no lower than #3.

    Only 15 of 59 coaches (as many as 5 already have Alabama lower than #2)

    Only 29 of 115 Harris voters (as many as 4 already have Alabama lower than #2)

    Then it's Bye Bye Bama.
