You could very well be right cause it is a playoff format. Go figure huh, the lil dogs have a more legitimate NC than the big dogs. Oh, I get it, they don't have/generate as much $$. John, can you enlighten us?
Don't know for sure. If you look at the Champs on cfbdatawarehouse, the lower ones are all called "NCAA Champs", but The big boys are just by the poll name that votes them number 1.
Sorry about that...didn't intend any disrespect. I was just in my typical hurry up mode...and couldn't remember the "FCS".:thumb:
The NCAA does recogize all the divisions except Div I-FBS (I-A) http://www.div1fbchampionship.com/ The official gear for the I-AA champions used to say just that.... NCAA Division I-AA champion. Now that the name has been changed for the past two years the official gear says: NCAA Division I football National champions. some examples.. https://goasu.com/store/43/ Of course we all know that we are a lower level, but it is fun to have the same championship gear. If the game does happen next year...there will be tens of thousands of LSU 2007 D1 National champ shirts and hats, and a few thousand (we took 5000 to Michigan) of ASU 2007 D1 National champs shirts and hats. LOL
Actually, IMO y'all gear is a little better. I haven't seen any LSU gear with NCAA champs on it anywhere.
No problem...It happens a lot and is a pet peeve of ASU and all I-AA teams fans. The D1-FCS and D1-FBS names are strange :insane: I-A and I-AA was a lot easier. I have always been mad at myself for not going to the game in 2005 at LSU. If we play this year or next I will not miss going to one, if not the best venue for football in the nation.
I hope you stick around here. We don't have an FCS poster here yet, and I think it would be an interesting addition to our forum. Welcome!
I've been waiting for the announcement of the "BCS School" to complete the 2008 schedule. I thought it was going to be made late last week. I've even done some recent digging around and haven't seen anything, rumor or fact. What's the latest word? Is there a snag in negotiations? Last I heard, Missouri, Baylor, Rutgers, Tex Tech, Tex A&M and Illinois were all options. :crystal::champs::crystal::champs::crystal:
Thanks for the update. Tex Tech vs LSU would be a really fun game. :crystal::champs::crystal::champs::crystal:
