What happens with Ohio State and Georgia if there ahead of us in the bcs? Do they still go up even though that don't play a conf. champ game?:geauxtige
Ohio State has 1 loss with no more games they will be ahead of us, GA is kind of like us last year no SECCG but should get a BCS bowl bid.
I'm assuming you're referring to the Title game. There are no specific rules about having to play in or win your conference title in order to play in the National Championship game. As a matter of fact, Oklahoma did just that in 2003.
Ok this is a HUGE IF! If Mizz beats Kansas and then Loses to Ok. If WVa loses to Pitt. Then that should put Georgia vs Ohio ST in the Title Game.
As I recall both OU and Nebraska got hammered in those title games. To my way of thinking, if you didn't even win your conference you got no business in the title game. Unless of course your opponent is the conference champ. I don't see that ever happening tho....I can just hear the bitchin about that now....lol BHD
I think LSU passes Georgia in the BCS with a win over UT. We would have a better computer poll ranking and we would just need to get really close in the human polls (which I definitely think we will, probably even pass them). I am more concerned with VaTech. They will jump Georgia as well with a win in the ACC CG. We probably need them to lose as well to BC in order for LSU to play tOSU in the NC.
Okay lets me see here. What you are saying is if OU wins the BIG12 CG and BC beats VT in the ACC CG, A WVU loss to PITT and LSU beats Tenn. we are in the NCG playing tOSU?
