ESPN scheduling is where I went to look... (they still show it TBD)... So the game will be up against the Doomers and the Rubber Boys, that should make for an interesting tv rating game...
I surely will watch Weis get beat 63-0. I sure hope Notre Lame installed an "Overly pathetic" clause that effectively states there would be no buyout for Weis.
lol... unfortunately... tv isn't only about the quality of the teams, but, moreso, the quality of the viewers. I will watch some of the USC game. I also had a cop tell me to "move along" last week when I slowed to a crawl to get a good look at a car wreck.
Our reign as the only 2 time BCS champ is most likely over after this season. Florida, OU, Texas and USC all appear to be waiting in line to play in the NC. Only Bama can stop it from happening. I just can't stomach that option.
I keep thinking about Texas playing on Thursday. Coach Brown thinks that it will benefit them because they will be the only game on and the entire nation can watch. As far as the coaches' poll is concerned, I think that is a great point. The coaches never get to watch any football on Saturday, or very little of it. They just go by what they see on ESPN or read in a column on the internet or see the boxscore and decide for themselves. Not a great way to come up with a top 25 list, but it is what it is. Advantage Texas in that case. This is where they need to make their biggest gain and leapfrog OU someway somehow. A 63-0 romp of an A&M squad goes a long way to that end. Anything short of that probably won't be enough. Texas have to pray they keep a slight computer poll advantage after Saturday, but I just don't see that happening. They may end up with a tie in the computer polls, but that's it.
My exact reasoning as to why Miles needs to start wearing a black hat during games and run the freakin score up when he has the ability. When margins are this close... style points will always put 1 team over another. Our stomping of VT last season is what got our final sway into the NCG.
