of course NO ONE will actually say that.

does make me feel better to know that texas probably wins with mccoy. if we can't win a NC without an asterisk neither can they.

Lots of "buying in" and "selling out" talk from Nick. Fitting.

And so, the 2009 CFB season comes to a grinding halt... on my last nerve.

    Let's recap...

Preseason: All the hype in the world (Russell Shepard, crop of receivers, "best O-line in my tenure", great RB corp, etc.)

    Season: WTF?

Capital One Bowl: See "Season" (above)

    BCS Championship:
    1) Bama wins - after going into conservative mode, thus allowing the Longhorns to get back into the game (sound familiar Tiger fans in the Saban era?)
    2) All of my Longhorn co-workers and neighbors retain the luxury or crying, what if Colt McCoy (peace be upon him) had played the whole game.

Baseball season starts on 2/19, right?

Bama didn't go conservative. Running the ball is what got them this championship. They tried to pass and Texas killed them on it unlike any team Bama played this year. Bama was scared to pass with the sacks they were getting all over the place. It simply didn't work.

And yes, with McCoy, it would have been a different kind of game. But it's over now and the other QB did a great job to have them in it toward the end.

By the way, anyone hear Brent Mustardburger say that someone went through the line "UNMOLESTED"... Les Miles is the only person I've ever heard say that until tonight. Congrats Brent, you've joined the idiot club.

Can we leave the use of the word molested in any form to cases involving guys with mustaches that like to touch little boys please? It sounds idiotic when using it with football...and creepy too! Maybe I'm oversensitive tonight...I don't know.

Mack Brown lost that game for Texas by trying to run a couple more plays going into halftime. Without that freakish shovel pass int play.... ahh.. hell... nm
