College football is a joke period. Don't get me wrong, I love it but the preseason rankings are based on the previous year and the post season is well a joke. There shouldn't be any preseason rankings.
I thought just this on the BS show. TCU and Boise may be good teams. My grip is prove it with a strong schedule. I mean together they played 3 ranked teams. Including Utah, BYU, and Oregon. I think Oregon is the only worth a damn win they had. I guess this is yet another reason why there should be a playoff system. If they truly are that good then they can prove it. As some other people said I think we have already seen the national championship played. However you never know how much fun would it be to see a Cinnci/TCU/Boise St. type of team prove that they are the best and beat a couple teams to win it all. I just hate the idea of well they are undefeated so they deserve to play in a bowl game. Quality over quantity people. :tigerhead
I was also angry at the pairing of BSU/TCU. All we ever hear is, "Well, they need to prove it against the BCS conferences." Well, the BCS had a chance to pair them up, and instead put them together, which will prove nothing. Besides, these two teams played each other in a bowl game LAST year. It's ridiculous. I would've enjoyed, say, a TCU/UF match-up in the Sugar Bowl (nice, easy travel for TCU fans from Fort Worth, who would've spent gobs of cash in NO) and BSU vs. Cincy or GT. But they chose the low road...
