You may not have HD locals available from Dish in your area. Here's a link from the Dish Network website: https://customersupport.dishnetwork.com/customernetqual/prepAddress.do Put in your address. It will bring up your available locals. If Fox isn't listed as HD, you will need to use an over the air antenna.
you can pick up FOX without cable or dish network by scanning your channels. Your TV should pickup any HD signals being broadcasting in your area. I would suggest getting cable or dish network. Channel 706 is on Cox and I am watching the Orange bowl.
The cable/satellite provider has to have a deal in place with the local network to show their broadcasts in HD. So that is most likely the case. Like in New Orleans, Cox does not show Fox in HD, but they do in Baton Rouge.
None of the local stations in my area are broadcasting in HD at this time!o: Thanks for the inputs. END OF THREAD!
Dude that sucks. I bet if you bitch at Dish they will give you other local channels that are in HD. It will be Atlanta channels or something but its better than nothing
I live 45 miles from Montgomery. I couldn't get the Fox affiliate with a roof top antenna before I got Dish. Live in the country.
