An LSU win is the only thing that will save the BCS. Hey, the BCS has been good to LSU. Let's just help them out and beat the illegitimate number two down again. This is a great chance for LSU to prove its dominancy over bama. We will not be denied! GEAUX UNDEFEATED!
Sorry bro, this is completely wrong. a BAMA win is the only thing that would legitimize the BCS this year. after LSU wins, then either everything will be dandy because Okst lost their game OR if OKst wins (especially big, ALA USC 2003) then it will be 2003 all over again (and rightfully so, we should be playing OKST).
It wouldn't be 2003 all over again. We'd be 14-0. 2003 had LSU and USC with 1 loss. There would still be controversy and what-ifs but no chance of a split title.

I would have liked to see Ok State get in, too. It would have been nice for the chance to beat a 3rd conference champ in the same year.....but, beating Saban and company for a 3rd straight time will be the perfect ending to this season.
Dont get me wrong, I think it will be funny to blow bama out (and i think thats how it will be, LSU will have ALL the momentum going into that game, nothing to prove, just go out and hit someone). (and of course i dont think there will be a split NC if okst wins big also).... I was addressing the OP, that LSU winning is the Opposite of BCS saving face....LSU is supposed to be here, its alabama that is the question mark so if they win then it shows they deserved to be there (they wont). Our defense is much stronger than it was 1 month ago. Offense: not sure, equivocal with our even better stable of RB's than a month ago...possibly edge bama. Defense: no question at all, LSU by a mile (again, look at who bama has played vs us). Special teams: no contest. It all comes down to game planning and execution.
