Absolutely astonishes me how much BAMA fans are whining. I was at the game---we won fair and square. BAMA fans always come up with an excuse as to why they lost. This year? Reid's interception wasn't really an interception. Apparently it was---and the review official agreed....and the field judges....and the sports commentators...everyone agreed...BUT BAMA fans. Ironic huh?

Secondly, the score was LSU: 9, BAMA: 6. In math, 9 is greater than 6. BAMA lost. Just admit to it and move on.

Thirdly, I agree that BAMA is the 2nd best team in the nation, HOWEVER, how can a team that sat on their couch on Championship Saturday remotely deserve the chance to play in the NCG in New Orleans? BAMA didn't play in their conference championship game AND they lost to the person they would rematch in the NCG.

However, my last point---I would GLADLY put my Tigers against the Tide again for a rematch. It would be nice to prove that LSU is indeed the best team in the nation and stop the BAMA faithful whining once and for all.

At this point, I almost don't want them coming to the city. Their attitude stinks.

I remember the Bama-Utah game. I have a friend from SLC, but other than that, I know more Bama people. My two brothers went to Bama, my Grandparents are buried at a military cemetary in Mobile, I've been to a p-rade in Mobile with moonpies flying at my face, etc. Yet, these Bama were just jerks. The seemed unhappy that they had to "settle" for a Sugar Bowl bid against a lesser school of Utah. I told Bama fan good luck and that I was pulling for them. I guess they knew I was from the city because of my accent because they wouldn't give me the time of day. After the game was over, I ran into a big table full of Utes at Pat O's. Imagine that, Utes at Pat O's. Of course I congratulated them. They seem to really enjoy the experience. And I congratulated my boy from SLC. Fark Bama's attitude.

I was at the 11/5 game. When Mathieu was called for the "block in the back" call, the BAMA fans surrounding me became their usual whining selves. They all started stating how Mathieu should be ejected from the game for his "dirty play." When they replayed it on the Jumbo Screen, they became even more irate. Now, I'm not agreeing with what Mathieu did---but it was obviously not a facemask as they were screaming, and I don't think he actually meant to do it. I think the BAMA player took a few drama classes as electives this year. ;)

Anyway, some irritating woman above me started yelling, "GO HOME LSU---NOBODY WANTS YOUR TEAM HERE AND NOBODY WANTS THE FANS HERE EITHER!" The first time she said it, I turned around and gave her the biggest "Oh my God did she seriously just say that?" look. She replied, "Don't turn around and look at me. You heard what I said!" I laughed, shook my head and turned around. Two of the BAMA fans told me that I was being very respectful by not responding to her nonsense. She screamed it three more times before I finally turned around, looked her straight in the eye and said, "We will GLADLY go home once we get finished taking care of business and beat them in OT." Well, my comment made the fans that said I was "respectful" upset---to which they told me I needed to calm down and not start anything. Um, really? Last time I checked, I paid money for my ticket just like they did. Additionally, my friend that went with me actually LIVES in Alabama---if she was supposed to go home---where exactly was she to go? She lives there.

I just thought it was funny how "I" was the one that was "out of line" and how they told ME to "calm down." :) Nobody said anything to the drunk, brown-headed lady three rows up with no teeth and a bad attitude. :) Made me feel good to piss them all off though with one sentence from my mouth. WORTH.EVERY.PENNY.
