LSU is a perfect 4-0 in BCS games. OSU also has 4 wins but also 2 losses. Only SoCal has more wins with 5, but are also sporting a loss as well.

The SEC is miles ahead of all conferences with a staggering record of 11-4, only the Pac-10 comes close with a record of 8-4.

The tides have really been changing in the BCS. After 2005, the Big Ten was a respectable 8-5. Now, 8-9.

SEC has always been great in the BCS, no doubt. USC has been as well, though the rest of the conference was pretty weak until their emergence.

Other items of note: Oklahoma has been sucking in the BCS, as has all of the ACC. West Virginia is an emerging BCS star, but how long will that last with Stewart at the helm instead of RR? Can Stewart recruit?

Either way, yes, LSU is mighty impressive in the BCS.

Yeah it's been a rough two years for the big 10. USC has always done good...I know I'll be rootin for OSU next season at USC.

I think WVU will stay up there...because honestly they have pretty much the same team and I can't see anyone challenging them. After Pat White/Slaton, WVU will drop off dramatically, IMO.

Conspricacy-sounding thought... the Pac-10 and Big Ten don't want a playoff because any expansion beyond the 2 teams we have now would only increase the chances that they'll have to face SEC teams.

I believe the key to wanting no playoff is the Rose Bowl. They want tradition. Really sucks. A playoff would be better for College Football.

Amusingly enough, Ohio State hasn't been to the Rose Bowl since '96-'97. Every big year they have results in the Fiesta Bowl or the Championship Game.
