no one in the top 14 has as high a SOS as LSU. even after mcneese. LSU has 15th toughest. OU is 20th. Mizzou 26th. Oregon is 111th which doesn't seem right when BSU is 73rd.
Of course we do, but in all honesty it should be higher than that, we play in the West... we have 4 teams in the west in the top 25, 4 in the top 15, 3 in the top 10. Of course we'll be punished for it since we have to all play and beat up on each other... but not many teams can handle our defenses... look at Oregon, their giving up over 30 points a game, they have to have a big play offense like many other teams.
Well, if LSU beats AU, but Bama beats LSU, and then Bama beats AU, that'll be correct. If LSU beats AU, and Bama beats LSU, but AU beats Bama, LSU will be in Atlanta. (This is of course assuming we beat Ole Miss...which is never a given)
If LSU can get away with only one loss I think we would have a good shot with the human vote in the last poll. No way in hell anyone else would get the "let's see what the Mad Hatter will do in the CG" vote like we would.
I am thinking this year its looking like a 13-0 SEC team - Aub or LSU just to many teams are 7-0 right now come on man LSU can beat Aub Bama Ole Miss Arky don't know who will come out of SEC-East I guess it will still be USC we can do it
These Douche bags piss me off. Even if we win it all it will just be an oppertunity for them to make fun off how we got there, not the talent we have. These bias, jerk wads only think a handful of teams are really good, every one else is just lucky. As far as James, I'd like to lock him and Leach in a closet and see who comes out. OK rant over.:angryfire
I hate to come across like one of those "ESPN hates LSU" types, but gracious sakes. Could they have been more dismissive of LSU ? Did someone knock Herbstreit over in a Port-a-Let at a Baton Rouge Gameday ? The guy cannot stand LSU. He's on Finebaum every Wednesday and in addition to kissing the UAT fans behinds he always throws even more red meat to them by going out of his way to knock LSU and Miles. I hope the players and coaching staff watched that show last night.
Funny how we all have different perspectives on the media. I, for one, have never heard a talking head NOT refer to all the talent you guys have when they talk about how Les Miles wins games... that's what makes your team so interesting this year. You're 7-0... win out (with or without a Les Miles exorcism) and all is well. Lose one and you can still get there... with help. Lose two and you'll drop faster than the over-endowed, ugly drunk girl at a fraternity bash. It's the way it works and it's the same for everybody.
Amazing coincidence ain't it? :rolleye33: It works that way for the unlucky. Amigo . . . LSU has already started at BCS #12 and won the BCS National Championship with two losses. This year we start at #6. Many teams will give up after one loss, but not LSU. Not with Les. He's lucky.
