I don't know anything about the guy, but he's not really saying that the Big 12 is a harder schedule than the SEC. He's saying an undefeated Big 12 team will jump a 1 loss LSU. Losses are big deals. I'm convinced that the human voters will jump Kansas over us. It's kind of hard to know for sure if they will jump us in the computers, but if they don't it will probably be close. Already with an absolutely abysmal schedule they are 4th in the computer polls. After they play MO and OK back to back, the computers are going to like them even more. I don't think Kansas is going to win out, but if they do they're probably in.

I don't think it really matters at this point. there is NO way Kansas goes undefeated, and if they do they deserve to have the #1 ranking headed into the NCG.

If this did happen I am very curious to see who would be #2. I would think it would be LSU, but with the SEC beating themselves up it looks as if LSU will play a 2 loss team headed into the SEC championship. This cannot be a good thing even though the SEC is strong. Especially when teams we thought were strong are losing a lot lately. (i.e South Carolina 4 losses, Auburn 3 losses, Florida 3 losses) I think if it were between LSU and Oregon for the #2 spot it could be decided by who LSU plays in the Sec Championship. Do we want Georgia or Tennessee? Which teams would give the better computer rating if we beat them

I mean these teams have beat good opponents, but lost to less caliber opponents and this will impact the computer ranking.

    I hope this makes sense!

Ohio State lost, LSU is #1, and if they win out they'll definitely finish in the top 2.

I'd just like to say that, although I don't think Kansas will beet Oklahoma, there is most certainly a way/possibility they will.

If Kansas goes undefeated, they deserve whatever happens in the BCS. We let Kentucky take our undefeated season from us. We'll have no leg to stand upon while eating those notional sour grapes. (All the metaphors I could muster)

I agree. Oregon's remaining schedule is at Arizona, at UCLA and Oregon State at home, none of which will help their SoS. The extra SECCG game will help us even if it's against Tennessee, so worst case scenario is that LSU and Oregon won't move relative to each other. But like everyone else here, I'd be very shocked if Kansas goes undefeated. Getting that #1 ranking this weekend was huge. Now that LSU's been established as the top team, the likelihood of having BOTH Oregon and Kansas jumping LSU in the polls from here on out without another loss is almost nil.

    Agreed.

And I will say it again, Oregon sure as hell picked the wrong weekend to be idle.

If Kansas wins out they will be #1 in the BCS poll.

They will have beaten a #4 ranked OU team and a #5 ranked Missouri team to date as well as being undefeated.

Yes, they will certainly be #1 in ALL computer polls, and the voters will vault them to #1 as well. They may end up being a unanimous #1 in both Coaches and Harris.
