Video summary - Kansas has not beaten a ranked team BUT, IF they beat Missouri and IF they beat Oklahoma, and IF they finish 12-0, the BCS voters would push them into the #2 BCS spot.

My dad's favorite saying: IF a bullfrog had wings, he wouldn't bump his arse every time he jumped. 'nough said! :yelwink2:

The only thing I disagree with is the certainty we would stay ahead of Oregon in the computers. Who wins the computers is most likely dependent on the TN @ KT game. If TN, then Oregon. If KT, then LSU.

no freaking way do they finish 12-0. this is kansas we are talking about. we're talking about a little dozen north team.

oklahoma state has been a jekyl and hyde team this year. imo, how that game goes this weekend could be an indicator of how good ks really is. or isn't.

Kansas won't finish 12-0 but if they do, then just give them the #2 spot. As good as LSU is, we still choked away a game in UK. I'm not worried about them going 12-0 at all though. I actually think OSU will upset them this weekend.

If KU doesn't lose a game, why wouldn't they be at least No. 2?

There are no other BCS conference undefeated teams except OSU.

I have no idea how you're crunching the numbers, but there is absolutely unequivocally NO WAY that Oregon jumps us in the computer polls.

This is how I think the voters will feel and Kansas would indeed get the needed votes to surpass LSU for #2 in the BCS. Their computer rankings at that point would surpass LSU as well, so LSU would have to remain ahead of them in the human polls, and there is no way an undefeated BCS conference champion who had to play a CCG will be left out in the cold. And at that point I tip my cap to Kansas and say job well done, you deserve it, and we would just reflect on why the hell we lost a 13 point lead to Kentucky late in the 3rd.
