Personally I would love an Oregon vs Bama match up, over the last 3-5 years those two have been the match up everyone wanted to see. Well here's our chance. It just depends on how well I think that Oregon would travel in the eyes of the sugar bowl.
Are Oregon fans looking at this bowl season as a downer after expecting to be in the NC game? What's the buzz in the Pacific NW GDF?
Personally, I'm ok with playing bama or texas. An Alabama matchup would be great, except I think we would be crushed and abused. Playing texas would be great, cuz I hate them at least as much as bama, and I think we would win that game. So, call me stupid,.. I want to play Alabama. ...though that's not what you asked. The 2013 season was supposed to be our year,.. but it wasn't, so Yes, it was a great big ol disappointing downer. We want a National Title, damn it! Happily, Mariota decided to stick around,..so it turns out we Oregon fans simply miscalculated,.. the year of the Duck is 2014.
