Very sad. Back when I was very active on Tidefans he was always great to debate.
I didnt know him at all but he was part of our silly little SEC football internet family.
As mentioned when we lost Jayb.

It puts a TON of perspective on things....

    This is awful.

I will pray for Rich and his family.

Terrible news. He seemed like a great guy who was very passionate about SEC football.

    God bless.

He was a very good dude. He gave me some infractions for arguing with him. I remember it got so heated he almost put me on the "Sweet Bye and Bye". The dude was brutal (in a good way) when it came to monitoring the bored. He didn't play but spread the "love" to everybody. He'd drop the hammer on a Bama poster just as fast as he would a visitor. I loved it. :thumb:

    RIP Rich!!!!

In a very short time period we have lost some amazing people. JayB, a wonderful Saints fan named Lee on a Saints forum I frequent and now also Rich.. as wonderful as sports are and can be, it is moments like these that offer true clarity of life. Memories and impressions are all we have. Make the best memories you possibly can in the course of leaving a wonderful impression of yourself. Everything else is truly secondary. All three of these people did just that, and I think that is what makes each passing so absolutely difficult to handle and process.

I do know this that wherever their spirit soars I'm sure Tiger Bait, Roll Tide, and Who Dat fill the background as the repeating chorus in their journey onward.

Prayers and best wishes to each and all.
