My favorite line, "we will play in championships with the players we've got, I CAN PROMISE YOU!!!!" Good job Coach Miles. Is it just me or has Les turned his intensity up a notch? :crystal: :geauxtige :crystal: :geauxtige :crystal: :geauxtige :crystal: :geauxtige :crystal: :geauxtige
I totally agree. I like the gestures that he made after he said 'We got two from Alabama.' As if to say, 'Dont f*ck with us!' It's very cool of him, and somewhat ironic, that he's playing into the 'F Saban' philosophy, being as he was the one that replaced him. I guess it shows his true solidarity with the fan base.
Yep, ever since he dropped the A-bomb to that nice lady at the half of the Tennessee(?) game. I think the intensity has been going up ever since.
I firmly believe that other coaches on the recruiting trail were trashing Coach Miles and it has definitely stirred his emotions to put it nicely. I don't recall hearing him speak better than he did at the Bash. Go get 'em Les !!!!
Im loving the intensity Miles is showing. Im sure all the recruiting crap that went on fueled him more, but I noticed a change in Miles during the season. Miles has been classy but almost cocky in a subtle sense. I really like that confidence in him. Like when he lobbied for LSU to play Michigan in the Rose Bowl. Basically saying LSU wants to prove we are as good as anyone in the country, we just had a tougher schedule. Despite that fiestyness, and tenacious confidence, Miles still portrays a humble person. Once again, Ill say Im liking the Hat more and more.:geauxtige:crystal:
It looks to me like Les is growing into the LSU job. Okie St. did not have all the aspects that LSU and the SEC has, so there has been some adjusting and getting used to that Les had to go through. That is understandable. He seems to be growing in comfort with the fan base, and confidence in his position in the SEC and the state. This is all good. Geaux Les !!! :geauxtige
Well said. I think we are beginning to see Les Miles' MO as he is coming into his own as the coach of a top 5 program. It's been as big a change for him as it's been for LSU fans accepting a new coach. I can't wait to see what'll happen next.
