qb out for the year. Will it damage them? I don't think so, they are a system team. Insert QB here and they still can score. That's why I knew RG the turd would never amount to shit in the NFL. But it makes you wonder, if TCU loses Boykin, LSU loses Fournette, I think they would fall in the polls. Ohio State wouldn't fall if they lost their best player and Alabama wouldn't either. What do you guys think? Should Baylor dip in the polls?
Without their QB Baylor is not as good so the rankings will reflect that after next week's game if the backup doesn't produce. They had 35 at the hallf but only ended up with 45, their lowest total of the season. Without the injury its probable they score over 60. Ohio.State wouldn't be downgraded as much because they have a proven backup.
Interesting, being in big 12 country I get to hear a lot of this. The radio guys had someone that is on the panel on yesterday and he said that "Baylor will be ranked according to what they have done to this point" meaning no, they won't drop...yet. Now if the new QB doesn't cut it and they flounder then down they go. I think they will lose, think they had a chance to lose before the QB went down, now they may lose 2 maybe even 3 games. I think TCU will lose a game or two as well. What I need, what MUST happen is for the buckeyes to lose a couple. I cannot have them preferably in the playoff at all but absolutely NOT in the championship game.
Their strength of schedule is pretty poor. At some point they'll play some good teams and they'll lose.
Luckeyes won't lose 2. It's just like last year. Win ugly, squeek by the likes of Northern Ilinois and face Michigan State in a winner-take-all scenario. Only shot for 2 losses is if they lose to both Sparty and Meeeecheeegan
