Having said that, I make no apologies for not feeling sympathy for thugs who lose their lives for not complying. Now, the guy in Minnesota last night, hell yeah. He seems to have done everything right. That's the FIRST incident I see where blacks should be upset.

There's a reason the cops continue to walk and it's not white priv. White cops shot and killed a white man today. Even though it won't make the National news, I feel the same about him.

 

The guy in Mn last night looks like he really was a good guy and did everything he was supposed to. We'll see.

 

It's not about your opinions. You can feel how you want. It's your (not you in particular lsutiga) unconscionable delivery. But, free speech alley right? Free speech doesn't mean you're free of people thinking you're nuts. Carry on.

I just left a lunch at a friend's business that had both black and white men sit down and eat out of a pot the guy cooked a roast in. I share that to say I'm not racist, though all this hatred I'm seeing people copy/paste from twitter to social media is very unsettling. When people are saying shoot whites because they're white, it draws lines in my mind and makes me feel racist feelings.

My heart went out to the guy in Mn just as it did for the officers in Dallas. Anyone who didn't feel the same for both, needs to check themselves. Now, the guy in BR, I'm not sure yet. Given his past and that he resisted, I'm not sure. The camera angle didn't allow me to see what his right hand was doing. I have a hunch his DVD sales were a cover for selling drugs but that's just a hunch.

 

Was a riot, uh protest supposed to be at airline and goodwood today. there's a circle k there they can loot for beer and liquor and then burn down. Circle Ks employ a lot of black people. It's also across the street from the old women's hospital that is now the city police headquarters.

What us sick and awful is a bunch of people keeping others from stuff that they have to do. What is worse is should the person in the car ask them to move so they can go on about their business they would be beaten probably to death. So yeah, if I have somewhere to go and this shit is going on I'm going lay on the horn, put the hammer down and hope those silly asses get out of the way.

Otherwise it's bowling for protesters

Bottom line is that I find it interesting that the most of us feel the cop went overboard. I personally don't think they needed to shoot him but I wasn't there. It looked like they had him under control but again, I wasn't there. The thing that gets overlooked by the "those damn white cops" crowd is that the dude was fighting. Don't fight the cops and you don't catch 2 to the chest.

 

I went to Laffy today and took a service road to stop at a sporting goods store in Opelousas. There was a brothu walking in the middle of my lane. He looked back to see if there were other vehicles coming, there weren't, like he expected me to switch lanes. I hammered it and passed close enough to haze him off the road.

Told the wife he probably got left at a bar last night. On the way back from Laffy several hours later, he was STILL walking and nearing Lafayette. Then I felt sorry for him and thought I should've offered him a ride. Looked pretty ghetto though. Yes, I profile a muther phucker before I pick them up. He had his pants low, a wife beater and a towel on his head. That's a summertime hoodie.
