In 2 years LSU basketball will be relevant again and hopefully for the long term.

I've been reading this forum for years and you haven't posted anything anybody would consider intelligent... yet you keep talking about how smart you are... but you never back it up.

Yeah, but the bright side is you are a very cool poster. I do look up to you in that regard. You are one of the few people on here that I'd call a polite and/or well-mannered poster when it comes to your presentation (not your substance)

    JohnLSU...
Because you disagree with the substance of my arguments doesn't mean they are hollow. I have an opinion, and it is usually founded. Whether you recognize that or not is your issue. I've never said I'm always right and I am open to being wrong.

I'm here to share ideas and opinions with fellow LSU fans - I recognize every time I get into a conversation there will be some degree of bias involved. I don't understand why you're trying to take this to the bush league.

To comment on the theme of this thread - Lack of recruiting / poor recruiting for this years team (California flash Dodson, Heck, we got Louisiana players better than him from what I have seen - fact, he is coming off surgery). No shooters, No rebounders but hold on. Things will be much better next year in terms of shooters & rebounders. Give Trent this year as a screw up & look for the future to be much better.. I hope I hope I hope!!!:geaux:

I went to the game yesterday. What I saw was an excellent game plan (something I haven't seen since baseball season - shot for the pumpers), and a well-coached team. What I also saw was quite a bit of youth, inexperience and lack of execution. A team of kids that have not yet learned how to finish plays or games. Vets like Bo Spencer and Tas look very frustrated when the younger players are in position to finish plays and can't get the ball in the hoop. Johnson is admittedly frustrated.

TJ has a plan. Its one that includes building a greenfield program. He doens't want to bring in JUCOs for the short-term benefit. He had incredible talent last season, and coached them well. He will bring Tiger BB back, and he will do it in less time than it took Brady to kill it.

It will get better. The Tigers were playing with OM yesterday with one of the least likely player groupings you would expect see (Walk-ons and youth in the lineup). TJ is playing lots of players, trying to find someone/something that works.

LM could stand to watch a game or two to learn something about that (one more parting shot for the pumpers).

You gotta love fan fave Eddie Ludwig. The kids plays hard, and has a lot of heart. Effort will pay dividend in the years to come.

All so true! The prime example was when Dotson got that steal drove the length of the floor and missed a dunk. The dude was nursing a sprained ankle and is coming off knee surgery. An upperclassman in the same situation would have just laid it in.
