nah. it just makes them human. Get out a media guide and look at the Top 10 attendance games in Tiger Stadium history. All of them were against big-time competition. Now, granted, the difference in the numbers is minimal because a sellout is a sellout, but big games sell tickets. What about your own money? Would you be more likely to spill $15 to go see an action adventure movie (or whatever your favorite movie is) or would you be more willing to pay $15 to go see a Barbie movie? I agree that attendance will be up no matter what just because it's a new program. I just think that once the initial buzz is over, it will be same ole same ole if: a. the team doesn't drastically improve b. big dogs don't come to play in the PMAC
Failure to recruit quality guards and solid post role players caught up with him. Our tough schedule in 2005-06 (8-5 entering SEC play with close, tough losses to Ohio St. UConn, Cincinnati, Houston, and Wichita St) is what enabled us to go 14-2 in SEC play and make it all the way to a FF. I have absolutely no doubt of that.
