Yes, but Hickey was 3-4 from three land, Stringer 1 for 2, and between Stringer and Hickey they were 12 Assists to 1 TO. I'll take a lower shooting percentage, if the A to TO ratio is that good, everytime. We do, as you say, need a little bit more from Turner. He and Isaac certainly have room for improvement in the shooting percentage department. It'll come though. I'm liking the make up of this team. If they can keep playing smart and within themselves, they'll be competitive in most games this season.
Hamilton looked solid. Stayed under control when others were getting a little wild from time to time.
I think we all realize that LSU hoops was pretty poor, this coach seems to be building a hard working team with good character. They've put together some quality wins and might be on their way to the sec and NCAA tourneys. Been fun to watch them play and not quit. Don't live in br anymore has attendance picked up for them?
Very, Very happy today, I very much enjoyed watching the Tigers win today! They played very well and made smart decisions. They also couldn't miss from behind the 3 point line for much of the game.
Had a nice crowd today. Could have been loud if the game was closer. Students were non existent but that was due to the game Monday night. The team looked good all around. I was impressed with the three point shooting. Made some really nice shots. Each time Ole Miss attempted a run LSU would just shut them down. Plus we got a free Rudy Macklin bobblehead. :thumb:
We're starting to get a little love from ESPN A primer for the SEC season -- college basketball - ESPN
I'd love for UK to come in thinking they are going to walk and we smack them back to Lexington...it's happened before. In 2000 they came in ranked #4 I think...that was one of the loudest (and biggest 13,042) crowds I'd ever been a part. My son was 5 at the time and was holding his ears the whole game.
