Down by 22 with 10 minutes to go and the Tigers lose by three (74-71) and had a chance to win it in the final minutes. Good to see the fight in the team. I don't think they're going to be able to turn the season around but I bet they surprise Vandy or Tenn.

Feb 22 can't get here soon enough...bring on baseball!

Just imagine if we could play a full game for once instead of shooting ourself in the foot with the big deficits all the time. It's a very young team with some injuries but at least they are fightin out there, which is all you can ask now.

Wow...I listened to part of it after my sons game but they were down by 15 so I didn't tune back in once I got home.

Good Job Tigers. One of these is going to come to you.

I agree... I said it would be brutal & for a while it looked that way.. Qunetin Thornton made a huge difference in the game & They fought like "Tigers" way to go LSU.

.. they didnt a few nights ago when they took on Miss St. in the SEC opener.

    :( 39-61. while shooting 19% in a half........

at least they looked good and made a run at Ole Miss.

it's easy to point fingers at the coach or whatever, but when you have as much production on the bench injured as LSU has:

    Mitchell
    Johnson
    Mason

it's hard to succeed, especially when on top of it all, your team lost arguably your best player in 7-10 years to the NBA

i like john brady as a man. I dont like john brady as a coach.

i don't see him doing much as far as "coaching" on the bench. More of making a scene screaming and throwing a fit. i also have a buddy thats a graduate student working with the basketball team in the athletic dept. and he sees a lot of the same.

I dont understand how a college level basketball team can play so poorly. Miss St is a decent team, but far from really good. and LSU shot an average of 21% for the game. and 19% in the second half ?!? It was terrible standing there watching.

LSU was able to throw together a whopping 39 points against powerhouse Moo U. LSU put up more than that against their football team.

I know that the team is young. I know we are playing through injuries. But come on. i think i saw LSU get down court and actually run a play only a hand full of times. And freethrows...:rolleye33: LSU can get tallent, but a lot of this looks like coaching..

They missed quite a few open looks in the paint against Ms St. How is that coaching?

LSU had been pretty good at the FT line before the last two games. They were horrid again last night - could've won the game had they shot an average night of freethrows. Turnovers continue to be a big problem.

I don't if you blame Brady or not - but he's had 11 years and the team has been average at best over time. LSU sports isn't about being average. I think a change would do everyone good.
