Brady Neal now, I never saw Milazzo defense that much better than Neal. Neal’s bat was light years better. I’m guessing an inbound catcher must be a threat. Mock drafts have too many LSU recruits in very high spots!
I’m really surprised and disappointed by some of those who put their name in the portal. Brady, Kling, Coleman, Dutton, Cam Johnson. Is it NIL money? Team chemistry/culture? For some, it might have been playing time. But definitely not In Neal’s case. Yesterday we had a pitcher (Seo) enter the portal and he was on the injury list all year. Something seems amiss.
Neal hit .143 in SEC play. Milazzo was .267. Defensively, Milazzo was .994 in conference with 1 error. Neal was .970 with 3 errors in about 35% fewer chances.
