Yep. I walked right into that one. Also, after enduring a laugher by Tulane I got to read about 20 headlines on TF about the game. It just adds to the enjoyment of getting punked by the greenies.
Didn't Arkansas do a 180 at the very end of last season? Didn't they limp into the SEC tourney? To coin a brand new phrase " I'm just sayin' " It can be done and the talent is there to do it. This team has lost all of its, lets see if I can come up with a brand new word ... uh ... "swagger", but lets pronounce it "swagguh". If any of you are like me, you keep waiting for something "big" to happen for this team and every week it doesn't. Has to happen this weekend obviously.
Yes they did, but I don't think this team could be wheeled into the SEC tourney on a stretcher. Someone needs to break out the Defibrillators to revive them, there is absolutely ZERO life left. They have flat lined. Dr, I'm sorry to say, we have lost em. :bncry:
i have defended this team like crazy. i still believe it is not a lack of talent and still, but that it is in their heads and they have psyched themselves out of winning with the belief they cant. i thought they wanted to, they just couldnt break past the psychological aspect and so many mental errors that made them beat themselves. but for the first time, i fully believe they have given up. i dont think they care any more tho. i think they want this season to be over and it will be in just three more games. on a side note, i am worried about matty ott. he has gone complete basket case and needs to find his pitching rhythm and strike zone again in the off season. i hope that 7 as a closer didnt do something physical to him, and i hope he can break through the mental meltdown he has been in since starting.
As I pointed out earlier, I point to the 7 inning closing he did against Bama, and the hit in the leg for Ranaudo as when this team fell apart. I think that something happened to both of them in those games and they haven't been able to get back the mental toughness to regroup themselves. This meltdown by each of them spilled over into the rest of the team, and they have since given up.
Admittedly she is warming up her vocal chords, however, she has not sung. She said something about the Germans and Pearl Harbor.
Well, I'm a fan of a cap. Only a handful of teams in mass media markets that can throw a lot of money around so for parity sake, I think their should be a cap. It would also keep ticket prices below 1K per game.
Owners of Major League teams are filthy rich and can afford to play the free agent market. If they can't afford to, they should sell the team. Should there be a cap on the price of cars so we can all drive a loaded Escalade?
