the President of Nicholls Baseball booster club came by to talk sh!t today.
According to him, they won't use the same pitching philosophy this year as they did last.

 

yeah and cooper, though he possesses a 2-1 record and ERA of 1.06, is not a weekend starter. he did pitch in the game last season with one strikeout in 1.0 innings of perfect relief. i'm glad to see both schools approach this game simply as a midweek game and not as a game to throw lots of arms at. matulis is healthy again, that's good. hopefully he has control because nicholls learned how to hit in the offseason. should be a good game.
