So what is the lineup going to look like? Here's my guess:
    C- Sean Ochinko
    1B- Matt Clark
    2B- Rene Escobar
    SS- D.J. LeMahieu
    3B- Michael Hollander
    LF- Chad Jones
    CF- Jared Mitchell
    RF- Blake Dean
    DH- Taylor Davis

    Rotation:
    Jared Bradford
    Jordan Brown
    Ryan Verdugo
    Ryan Byrd
    Anthony Ranaudo

I agree with all of that except Rene broke his hand last week and will be out until mid march. Also Schimpf if is not at LF he will be in the lineup somewhere because he is one of the best hitters on the team.

Great compliment from one of the greatest.

BTW, Miles made a strong push to get Chad Jones and Mitchell to attend Spring practice and I believe Mainieri agreed to let them miss the Duquesne series from Feb 29th-March 3rd.

Chad Jones will be in RF...Blake Dean in Left.

Escobar is out a couple of months so Ryan Schimpf will begin the season at 2nd.

it's good to see the 2 compromising.

a lot of football coaches would be egotistical and put their foot down and say: "my way or highway".

I can also say that I saw Les at several LSU baseball games at the box this past season and he actively cheers for the team and specifically Mitchell.

I remember him yelling after a Mitchell double this past year "That'a rip, Jared!" loud enough to where the people all around him kinda turned and looked.
