    Sounds like a rusty opening. Does Bradshaw have any other pitch to go with his hook? Offense sounds rusty as well.

    I was listening to the interview with Coach Mainieri after the game, and he--as usual--reminds me very much of Les Miles. One thing that stuck out to me was how he said that, of all the teams he has coached, they never do well in their first game of the season... which was odd being that his 2008 LSU team beat Indiana 7-1 in their season opener, and his 2009 LSU team beat Villanova 12-3 in their season opener.

    And neither of those games were very well played. I was at both of them and they were both very sloppy. The scoreboard isn't the only indicator of quality of play.
