6-5 on a solo homer by snyder (3rd of weekend.) matulis has been in 8 innings, most innings pitched this season by any LSU pitcher and it beats the seven pitched by matty ott in the win over bama.

wind has picked up a lot. tied ball game 6-6. we blew yet another lead. hate to say it, but LSU has been out-coached, out-played and out-lucked this weekend. we need to get home and regroup ASAP before this season spirals out of control because it's not going to get any easier.

alex edward (who is a wasted at bat in the lineup, btw,) strikes out with two base runners to end the 9th. as bad as LSU has been playing this weekend, give ole miss credit, these guys make the pitch, get the hit, get the steal -- whatever they need to get the "W." seems like every team finds their groove against LSU.

leadoff guy reaches on base hit on first pitch from ross in the bot. 9th.

"throw it in the dirt, hey!" is going to be etchd in my head for the rest of my life....

runners at first and second, no outs as old piss is ripping ross apart. no one warming. would have been better with matulis in there.

outfield is in for LSU, the infield is in. anything through the infield will win the game for ole miss.

quote of the weekend, jim hawthorne: "if LSU can get out of this, it will be a miracle."

base hit, ball game over. close to a grand slam and wouldn't that have been fitting?

wow, what a ****ing lousy display of baseball this weekend.

well, now that i think about it, maybe they've been practicing too hard? playing too much... maybe they just need a break? i don't know what it is. good thing that northwestern was ranked ~30 because you already know that the pollsters were waiting for LSU to fall so they could really stick it to us. :dis:
