how many years did FSU have a 50-15 record or so only to never win anything but their conference (pre-miami). the jd drews of the world could only carry mike martin so far. with all their 50 win seasons they collapsed when facing stiffer compeition in the postseason. Im not sure I can recall 4 star players on major league rosters outside of the drews so maybe that had something to do with it. they were never as good in person as they were on paper. I think that may be the case today. of course clair's hero matt diaz may be the best fsu alum ever. certainly better than jd bruise
