This team is not going to any post season tournament, nor should they. I think it's time we all accept that.
I just said to my brother..."here comes the middle inning collapse....how many you think they will score between now and the 7th inning....4, 5, or 8?" They got 6 now. I'm not prophetic...just watched this team long enough to figure it all out. Kinda like being able to call the plays on football before we run them all year last year. i agree. and im trying to prepare myself for what could very well be the outcome of the game tuesday. this is past slump. this is full-fledged meltdown.
No one is even over to the bag to cover on the steal. This team has lost it...mentally. It's not going to get any better. I might as well accept it like Sabanfan said. Reality is setting in....and I'm about to puke.
It happens. Strange no one has pointed any fingers at the pitching coach yet. I guess we'll recruit some throwers and get at it next year.
