I usually don't put much stock in sports superstitions, but I'm a believer now.

Bert retired 10 in a row at the end of the 8th. Ott has been shakey. I know he's our closer and you want to stick with your strength but I feel for Bert.

i do too. i thought they would leave bert in. he has really stepped up lately.

ott has not been himself at all lately. which is putting it mildly. somethings gotten into his head.

We're not good at baseball anymore. That's really the only thing I can say.

You all do realize that this slump started when Matty Ott went 7 innings vs. Bama.

yes, that was the beginning, but ott really fell apart after being tried at starter.

im not sure he ever really recovered from going 7, and i think starting f'ed with his head.

Just got home from the game. This was our first Tiger baseball, in person, since moving here to Lexington three years ago. Man, talk about the wheels coming off! Oh well, had fun anyway. It was great hanging with the Tiger faithful, we had to be at least one third of the crowd. Looking forward to doing it again tomorrow and Sunday. We need something to build on!

I said this the day we started him. I remember clearly posting "I hope we didn't just watch the ruining of Matty Ott right before our very eyes".

I have no idea what else could go wrong for this team...we were 32-6. This is the worst "slump" I've seen in my lifetime. The WORST.

Do we have what it takes to salvage this season? Do we????

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. This too shall pass.

nope, he was shaky before that... albeit not walk-crazy shaky, but shaky nonetheless.

walk-crazy shaky... hmm i like that. well, not like it, but i like the term...

anyway, i don't know what to say anymore. i thought this game would be the one where we broke out of the shell, but giving up a 6 run lead.... man. it just hurts.
