Yeeeesh... Their isn't much to say about UK. With the exception of last weekends out of nowhere series win against conference leading SCar, the Wildcats have done squat in league play (9-15), with only one series win against Bama (no they haven't played UGA yet). I doubt it will be a big crowd despite it's importance to their tourney hope, because it seems anyone even remotely interested in Kentucky sports will be spending the weekend fighting of John Calipari rumors. So, lets talk about ourselves instead. Watkins is back and will be batting 1st or 2nd and playing LF. Edward has indeed played himself into a starting role, unfortunately this means he will be the next warrior to fight the curse of 3B. Dozar is the odd man out, but he will be ready to sub with Edward should things go south. Meanwhile, CPM isn't saying anything about who will start Saturday. Honestly, it probably depends on whether or not Ranaudo has a good outing. It has to come together this weekend. Ranaudo, pitching, hitting, all of it. There is no time left. Now is the hour. I feel a motivational speech coming on... *sigh* i think it's a mistake taking edward out of left and putting watkins back in. not because i don't believe in trey, but because edward has seemingly been the lone bright spot offensively. putting him at third might shake things up -- you know how finicky baseball players can be. oh well, MAHTOOK needs to get it together too. if the pitching can be as consistent as last week, anything can happen. LET'S GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!! we need a series win in the worst way possible! i think it's time we turn this corner for good! :geauxtige:lsup:LSU!:LSU231::geauxtige:lsup:LSU!
Shamelessly stolen from channelsurfing.net who shamelessly stole the video from Kentucky: mms://a869.l5534134868.c55341.n.lm.akamaistream.net/D/869/55341/v0001/reflector:34868
Thanks. Coming in loud and clear. Dean just hits a 3 run homer in the 4th to stretch LSU's lead to 9-3
Ott on the verge of blowing a 2-run lead. 8 straight balls thrown to put tieing run at 2nd, winning run on 1st. 1 away.
