Other than the seniors, paper talked about Landry, Gibbs, and Ranaudo as underclassmen that could go high in the draft.

Well we had our chance in the top of the 8th. I felt certain we sould at least tie the game. Just wasn't our year, tough to win back-to-back NC's. Good job men, Go Tigers !!!!!!!!

Congrats to the Tigers!!! When you consider that 2-3 weeks ago we didn't even think we would make it to the SEC Tourney, winning the SEC Tourney then making to the semi's in the regional is a pretty strong way to finish. This team fought hard and did more than I expected. Gaining their confidence back and having a never die attitude carried them further than I could have hoped. Here's to next year!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!:geaux: :tigbas: :LSU231:

Sucks being eliminated by UCI. UCLA wouldn't have bothered me, but i don't like UCI's coach, nor do i like the way they play baseball, even though they did hit some shots off of us.

Nice turn around from SEC tournament on, wish it would have gone better, but it is what it is.

    MICAH PLEASE DON'T GO!!!!

Seriously is Micah Gibbs not one of the best if not the best catcher you have ever seen play at the collegiate level?

He'll make money because of his switch hitting.

This year he's been awful when it comes to throwing out base runners though.

He's still very solid at keeping everything in front of him with wild pitches.

I agree. His defensive abilities seem to have fallen off from last year.

On a related note, I can't remember the last time I've seen a defensive center-fielder as amazing as Leon Landry. I'm going to miss him if he gets drafted.

Alot of that has to due with the fact that LSU's pitchers are horrible at keeping them honest. Runners are getting great breaks off of our pitchers this season its hard to throw someone out when they are already 2/3rd's there when Micah gets the ball. (there are a few pitchers who are pretty good at keeping the runner close to the bag, but most aren't.)
