BASEBALL 2010 LA REGIONAL DAY 3 v UC-I 4pm, v UCLA 8pm

Paul Maineiri needs to hire a bunting coach. I know he hates giving up outs, but sometimes it will kill you if you don't. Well, it ended the season today.

It's never fun to see your team lose, especially when they started the season in the top 5.

Hopefully Maineiri can only become a much better coach because of this.

 

then we would replace everyone. we dont have anyone that can bunt.

i will say there was one good thing in this suck ass day. matty ott. the kid finished the season with a good game. after the past month and a half he has had, he needed that bad. i am happy for him to get the monkey off his back even if the season is now over.

 

why replace everyone? you only need one guy to bunt the runner into scoring position.

 

It was a huge mistake in the 8th to not even try to bunt with runners at first and second no outs. At least TRY to make it to where a fly ball by the next batter can tie the game. By the way, next guy hit a fly ball to right.

i meant for that at bat, we wouldnt have anyone to replace as a dh. you mean on the team, period. i misunderstood what you are saying.

bottom line is, we dont have anyone that can bunt.

 

This team turned a disaster into a promising hope. They didn't win today, but they didn't quit when it would have been so easy to have done so. Congratulations to the Tigers for another great season! Rest assured, we will be back.:geauxtige

That ball was fair. Cleared the inside of the pole. Fans came completely unglued, CPM gave em hell for a two hot minute. We got burnt all day on sh!tty calls. Friggin strike zone had Helen Keller written all over it.
