It's a tad frustrating to see a team that knows how to bunt so well. You never know what could happen, but had we been able to bunt runners over when we had two on and no outs early on, it could've made things interesting. Sadly, we are a terrible bunting team. That bunt just scored a run. That's how you play baseball.

Now we need a TD and an extra point. Too bad this isn't weak-ass Pac-1 football.

he was deceptive, and, well, that made him effective. LSU could have hit him, they were catching up to his fastball at first. then he started throwing his signature pitch. the hitters got in a hole and then that unhittable changeup would come. we have hit guys like him before, though. i'm telling you, he was deceptive and we simply couldn't adjust. he's not an overpowering guy. give him credit for making the pitch, but LSU did a lot to make him look good. you stay patient and wait for that fastball, but once you panic, it's over. in the end, he was effective, i'm not disagreeing with that notion. i've seen him get racked this season by a power hitting team... i can forward you the DVD i made.

EDIT - it was the ASU game, i just looked, and he was hittable to start the game, just like tonight. watch the game and you can see the patience pay off for Azz State. he gets more settled in the longer he goes in the game, you have to get to him early. i've been drinking and i'm pretty argumentative right now... so i'm out until i cool off.

Like I said, I haven't seen him before...and if he's facing the Tigers, I hope I never see him again. But I gotta tell ya', Greg Maddux wasn't overpowering either. Worked for him. Like I said earlier, I don't know if this is his norm, but tonight, he was amazing. I tip my LSU hat to him. :miles: It's one thing to have a good change of pace. It's a whole 'nuther animal when you can throw it for strikes whenever you want to.
