UC-Irvine wins with pitching and has a 3.79 ERA compared to LSU's 5.52.
"We're going to have to hit like LSU usually hits in the postseason," Dean said. "We're confident with all our pitchers. Anthony Ranaudo's back, and Austin has been one of our best pitchers all year. This is the time of year that LSU gets it all together."

Hawthorne just said that "LSU owns the ballpark... fans wearing purple and gold everywhere you look" -- lol @ UC-Irvine... their school is right there in the LA metro area... and has tens of thousands of students... could they not find the ball park?
