Barry Switzer, "The LSU coach isn't worth a d@mn"

I was listening to 1310 AM in Dallas. It's a great radio station for sports and I'm sure my fellow DFW Tiger fans will agree.

Well on Thursday or Friday afternoon they had Barry Switzer on. They talked about his OU days since he was in town for the Red River Shootout and about the rest of the league.

He is pretty funny and shoots straight. The SEC came up and of the topics Switzer brought up was Miles and LSU. Switzer said, "The LSU coach isn't worth a damn. LSU should've been much better the last few seasons with the talent they have."

He paid huge amounts of respect to the SEC but had little for Miles. I must admit I laughed and somewhat agreed. I've been OK with Miles and Crowton since the NC because we can't win them all. But the time management, game management, play calling is something the can control and they are pathetic. So my patience with them is non-existent now. We are one piece away from being a NC team and that is a QB. We have a 2 yr starter that seems worse this year than ever.

I agree. We're turning into the laughing stock of NCAA football. Even the CBS announcers practically called us the worst 5-0 team they've ever seen. We're won with luck and the sheer physical ability of some select players. But, coaching is killing us. That nightmare yesterday is a prime example. Poor clock management and a stupid decision to change out the QBs after Lee had taken the team down the field. Jefferson looked lost out there and it took Hebert deciding to snap the stupid ball to give us a chance to win. Jefferson would have let the clock run out.

We need three pieces. A QB, Head coach and a new offensive coordinator. :D

Maybe Switzer remembers Miles from Okie State. Same guy, different colors.
