The Scout recruiting service was surprised he chose LSU. Kinda funny since they should be on top of things and know that LSU had the lean.

I must of had a brain cramp to forget Mauck. Ross Setters however does not ring a bell.

The only caveat is that Jarvis Jones is considered a soft commitment. So if Jones backs off his verbal I wonder whether we will pursue a lower ranked OL or consider the possibility of Aubrey switching to offense. I believe we get another lower ranked OL. It is interesting though with so many great DL out there this year, It reminds you of the NFL draft and how they take the "best available player", but obviously that doesn't happen as much in college ball. I think that we will always be a little thin in this state at OL, compared to other positions.

From what Ive read Jarvis says he is fully commited to LSU. His mom would have liked him to take more visits. She also would have liked him to go to school a little closer to home. Hopefully he sticks to his word and doesnt pull a $aban. If he does Im sure LSU could get Rishaw Johnson. He is a diamond in the ruff, once polished with a few years of good coaching he could be a big time lineman.
