With Kentravis Aubrey, Joseph Barksdale, Luther Davis, and Drake Nevis, our D line should stay dominate for at least the next 3-4 years.
Im not positive, but I believe the coaches may look to move Aubrey to the OL. The other three are big time DTs. Im sure next year LSU will be looking more at DE.
LSU has five OL commits already and Aubrey is our only true DE commit so I'm not sure why they would want him to move this early in his career. Plus it sounds like he really wants to stay on the defensive side. http://lsu.rivals.com/content.asp?SID=886&CID=560876
Just my thoughts. I'm not trying to make a case one way or another. I'm sure the coaches will put in the best position to help the team.
Looks like Barksdale is trying to enroll at at LSU for the spring semester and it appears the Miles Michigan connection may have played a part: http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070106/UPDATE/701060428
It'll be good to get him some playing time in the spring. I'm looking forward to seeing what he and Al Woods can do side-by-side in the Spring game! :thumb: Any time a recruit can enroll early and get an early jump with conditioning and the playbook (similar to Cutrera last year).
cmon, you know better than that. do have to go back too far to come up with mmauck. ross setters is from n. missouri (that ones kinda far back).
