Dude, it was a pep rally. Of course, the national media is going to get a hold of it and spin it into something it's not. It was an on campus gathering meant to fire up the team and the fans. Quit trying to make it out to be any more than that. Every fan base has their knuckleheads. We're no exception. Neither are you. Everywhere I tailgated at before the game had a mix of Bama and LSU fans alike, so if you got treated like dirt, you probably did something to deserve it.
Obviously you did not go to the game or campus or you wouldn't be saying that about "many of the fans". Point is, the media did everything they could to focus on Saban instead of the players and a couple of insecure, and a couple more drunk fans obliged them. You extrapolate that to "many fans". Brilliant. And as far as your claim to have never gone on to another team's msg board to rub it in....guess you can't say that anymore. Wouldn't it have been nice if you could have taken your frustrations out on the handful of fans that actually offended you? It's morons of your stripe that perpetuate every horror(translation BS) story about any fan base. All the while having never been there to see it yourself. I guess mom's basement is just too cozy.
