Come on, man. It's not just this year, it's every year. LSU battles Florida harder than Alabama. Right now I am willing to concede Alabama will get players in that state easier than Miles or anyone else; Bama has more of a need to build a deep bench at more positions. When it comes to OOC games, SEC teams winning is better for everyone in the SEC.
Thank God football games are decided on the field and not in chat rooms. Bottom line Bama 12-1 won the SEC west played for SEC championship, will be playing in a BCS bowl with a payout of 17 million. LSU 7-5. 3-5 in conference playing G Tech for a box of chicken nuggets........
Actually that $17 million largely gets split amongst every SEC team, as all BCS games do. So bama will actually be adding to our coffers. :thumb:
Yet no crystal ball for you guys. Meanwhile LSU still remains the only school with two. Enjoy playing Utah for your consolation prize.
And not even an SEC championship since 1999, ouch!!! He's right, it's a good thing games are decided on the field because in the gumps mind they just they just won their 100th national title. They remind me a lot of notre lame.:lol::lol:
It's funny how Auburn and LSU fans can mock us being in the Sugar Bowl when Auburn's program is in rapid decrease...and LSU's final record will mirror that of Saban's first season at Alabama. Also, the folks that wear the purple and gold are quick to deny the fact that their program is in a steady decrease with Miles....After next year's 4+ losses, the morale on this board will be different. Oh and GT will crush you.
Whether we battled Florida more or Bama more in the past for recruits is up for debate, but things are different now. Saban, with his established Louisiana ties, will undoubtedly be a bigger threat to us than Florida for the foreseeable.
