No, there are always exceptions to the rule. Teaching moments. Life's lessons, sort to speak. It's an emotional game, played by young guys, in a violent sport. But it does take us to the sentiments of this discussion. Why does it appear that Alabama is getting preferential treatment? Because it happens less often then elsewhere. Somewhere on this thread firstCoastTiger has gone to great mathematical lengths to prove this fact.

Well, I'll tell you FCT, there are math stats and there are common sense stats. And for everything that has already been stated in rebuttal in this thread, perhaps now would be a great time to break out a few frying pans of your own. Otherwise, we could end up with more heat than light.

They are complaining that Notre Dame is getting preferential treatment before the game even starts. I'm sure they would appreciate your wisdom over there because the math, the facts, and the common sense history is on our side on this one.

Don't be a hypocrite - show us ONE POST that you have made over there to those guys telling them that ND would not get preferential treatment and condemn those that think that way AND admit to your ilk that you believe the SEC should suspend Dial (which is what this thread is about BTW) to KEEP WITH THE PRECEDENCE THAT SLIVE HAS ALREADY SET THIS SEASON. Otherwise it proves what we are saying is true and this is just another example....

When I want a reasonable conversation, I just ask CC how he feels about most anything. Besides if you guys can't express yourself among the Crimson, why should I? Setting a little sarcasm aside for a minute.

If you look at the numbers you'll see Bama doesn't get as many flags as other teams. That's true.

If you look at the penalties, you'll also see you don't find things like a large number of false starts, illegal formations, etc.

 

Just curious, how many times has bama been flagged for holding this year?
