Bama plays some team out of Texas this week. I think it is North Texas. Somebody please tell me that this is not the team in Texas that got beat 92-0 last week. If it is, this will be shameful.
We can't really respond to that because we played them twice over the last 5 years or so. But this is more like it: I heard a few rumors that Julio is now complaining about not getting the ball enough. If true I called this 2 minutes after I meet him and the other Under Armor game prospects when he and the others all referred to him by the name Superstar.
I will say this about the University of North Texas. Greg Mcelroy played high school football for the coach of UNT, Todd Dodge. Todd Dodge's son Riley, who is the QB at UNT, was McElroy's back up when McElroy came in after Chase Daniel graduated. Todd Dodge is a really good coach, and i think he would succeed if he were at a better school. I think this one will be competitive in the first 1 and a half quarters. Then Bama will pull away.
I can't imagine being on a team and losing 92-0. And then to actually have to go play a team that is in the top five of the nation!!!! I would be ashamed to get off the bus and walk to the dressing room as those "friendly/well bred/polite" Bama fans greeted me. You certainly can't puff up your chest and walk in with a "yeah...I'm bad" attitude.:sob:
I saw something the other day, and I haven't verified it, that claims JJ has not caught a TD since 2008 September. I know he only had 4 last year. I know he is good, but with the press he gets one would think he had much more.
