Bama is pretty strong. But, I just can't get an adequate gauge on them. Yes, they beat down Georgia in the first half. I question Georgia's will in the first half of that game more than Bama's prowess. However, a beat down is a beat down. I just find it interesting that Georgia scored 30 in the second half. Bama scored 10. To me, that was more interesting than anything else I have seen from this Bama team. They beat an over-rated Clemson team. That seems to be about it. Anyone agree? I am really not taking anything from them, but overly impressed NO.
they're real physical and except for taday, well disclpined. I think a second half letdown when up 31-0 is normal. And they're healthy as hell, which is important. Look as us, when Alexander and Ricky Jean go out, we were not as dominate at the LOS. Still a month away, that's a lot of football before we even worry about them. Fla, Ga, and even SC (beat Ole Miss) come first. SEC is shaping up to be wild this year.
Note to self: Start slush fund to buy refs in Bama game. It is clear we are gonna need to pay them more than the Bama slush fund. Do you ever see the gumps get the short end at home. Not often. That was clearly a catch and fumble. It still wouldnt have been a first down but that was as clear as Hester's was. 2 steps before the ball came out.
If they rule it a fumble it favors UK since they recovered it...By being called an incomplete pass it helped BAMA
