Re: Bama fans getting jumpy forfeits? or vacates? Forfeits means an L, I dont think the NCAA would do that. They normally just dont let them count W's. Gumps wont be happy with forfeits and will not be happy about the 3 years, thats pretty stiff especially because of the repeat window that is now open.
Re: Bama fans getting jumpy yeah i have no idea. cant really remember but they are able to keep the cu win.. its one of those things that doesnt really matter unless youre bobby bowden. so who wins the bama fsu game? i might be wrong about the years on the new probation too - just cant remember. my lifes a blur. nah, all they care about are the scholarships. pretty happy bunch over here.
Re: Bama fans getting jumpy Should be vacate, so Bama would go 0-6 in 2007 and the opponents they beat would keep the loss on their record. Since a bowl is involved, the NCAA may leave that alone and Bama would be 1-6 for 2007.

Re: Bama fans getting jumpy Here is what the Bama Rivals site said will happen. 1. 3 year probation 2. $43,900 fine 3. Vacate wins back to 2005 (What does that mean?) 4. No sanctions. 5. No scholarship losses in any sports. Probation will be from Jun 11, 2009 till June 11 2012
