Cincy runner just fumbled as he dives toward a TD. WVU recovers. 10 replays show he never got the ball over the plane of the goal line. Refs review it and guess what? Cincy is given the TD. Another unbeaten team at home protected by idiotic officials.
didn't think it was a TD, but no way in hell it should have been ruled a fumble. dude reached forward, came close to goal line, then was pushed backwards before the ball came out. forward progress was definitely stopped, so no fumble.
Another misuse of the replay. Nobody seems to know what indisputable means. There was no camera angle good enough to show he got across and secondly you can't say for sure he had total possession of that ball as it hit the top of someone's helmet and it appeared he had to tuck the ball back in after he tried to get it across the line.
Looked like he lost control as he dove forward and held the ball out. Ole spittin Lou just stated how coincidental it is that these controversial calls favor Fla, Bama, and now Cincy.
If you draw a line from the goal line up, it was a TD. The ref made the correct call....it doesn't matter that it was close.
The fact that there is disagreement is proof that it was not indisputable. I thought he did not have control of the ball.
