Bama player & Saban say Bama "average" unless motivated.

There is NOTHING "average" about LSU this year; no LSU team player or coach would ever think or state that we were "average." By comparison, the quotes below, from Bama player & Little Nicky:

they surely will be motivated when go playing against us, so I wouldn't even bother to think about being overlooked by BAMA

 

They all watched our game in the locker room and were thinking "Oh *****"...instead of focusing on Tennessee.

Both of these teams have played very similar football this year with similar results. A little tentative in the first half on O, take the other teams best shot in the first half on D then dominate. Both teams have wanted the QB to manage the games early in the season but are taking the reins off now, even asking them to make plays. Both teams are now getting their playmakers into the flow earlier after softening up the underbelly. And both defenses have guys flying to the ball and blowing ball carriers up.

Saban looked as tight as a drum last night on the sideline, and he will be tight every day for the next two weeks.

Les, on the other hand, looked like he was having fun. Our team looks the same way.

I like us in this game.

It positively warmed my heart when Hilliard scored his second TD of the game, and some of his classmates, like La'el Collins, were busy giving him props on the sideline. It just made me think again about what an amazing freshman class we have. And how bright the future is here @ LSU.

 

LSU and Bama have had slow first halfs in several games this season.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the score was 0-0 at the half on nov 5th.
