His is an interesting transfer story. I don't know if you knew it, but he was committed to Bama back in the spring. At that time everyone was wondering where he'd fit in? It would have certainly been on the bench this fall--likely as the #4 QB. A transfer...and he's starting. Good for the kid, ya know?
I heard them talk about that last night. Kid looked good to me. What didn't look good was wsu secondary. My God, anytime USC got 3rd and long all they had to do was throw deep and wazuu would bail them out.
When he left ECU, he said the next stop had to be close to home because of family issues, said it was priority #1. But apparently when Leach called offering the potential to start and throw for a shit ton, that priority list went in the toilet. Players want to play. I think it was a far better decision to get all that playing time, get a decent shot at the NFL even though you won't win a natty, than to ride the pine for Bama and maybe get a ring that you didn't contribute that much to. On a Friday night broham....I was looking at the inside of my eyelids. Pac-12 commissioner is grande puto.
Nah, until they start playing more teams with equal talent, like say maybe adding an ooc game against the Browns or 49ers, people will continue to complain about their weak schedule. (The above is hopefully obvious sarcasm for the few that will undoubtedly miss it.)
They are not overrated. They could beat a few lesser nfl teams. Add they have the refs in their back pocket. LSU offense would have to keep their defense on the filed and get some turnovers and play the defensive game of their life. LSU has the closest talent to bama and you never know about the magic in Tiger stadium. We will give em all they want.
To be honest, I’m more worried about taking care of the teams not named Bama. If we can do that we can just have fun in the Bama game.
I just don’t see Bama losing a game this year. They’re on an entirely different level than previous years.
