Curious. When this thought crossed your mind did you bother to stop and look over the last few years? Yes, Bama has played Mizzou twice--once in the regular season and once in the SECCG. On the other hand, Bama hasn't played UofSC since 2010 and LSU has pulled them twice--one of those against a three win Gamecocks team. Bama did catch Mizzou on a down year--five win season in 2012--on the road. Both games with LSU and UofSC? In Baton Rouge. So...is this really something you want to go with or was it just a spur of the moment thought? Did you watch the NC game last year? Has there been an "edge of your seat" moment like that for LSU over the last few years? The notion that you can't believe Bama fans are satisfied with this run? Winning like this isn't supposed to be fun? This very thing was said before Ole Miss--"The Rebels are going to test this young secondary." Yep. For 11 seconds. It's the same thing every year...the next game is a challenge followed by "that opponent wasn't as good as we thought they'd be."
The only problem with this statistic is that Bama has had their 1st string in for half or even less of every game. The other dudes on the depth chart are getting great experience but they will make mistakes.
I love reading your posts you are very knowledgeable. Good point. Can you give us your USC scouting report for this year’s team?
Completely spur of the moment Terry. But it does seem like you guys have a weaker schedule most years. With that said, dominating those teams is what you are supposed to do. But it's probably my purple drink making me feel this way. Lol
USC in 2016 for one. Wisconsin the year before. West Virginia the year before that. You really need to brush up on your Bama history and show them some respeck when you talk about em. Or is a neutral site not a consideration?
Uh, you said "away" game which means not at home you big dummy. And btw, an away game IS a road game.
