Because the ensuing suicides by auburn fans would be hilarious, and then we could still somehow stumble our way into the nc ,because our only loss would be an auburn team that had a newly ineligible cam newton. It'd be like 2007 but better
LSU 15, Bama 13 Tigers will do just enough to win this one. It won't be pretty, and won't garner us being talked about much nationally, but we win nonetheless. We nudge up to about #6, and wait for others to fall as the season progresses, but mark my words, this is the week that we position ourselves for a NC run - not necessarily impressively, just rather business like. The winner of this game is definitely in the catbird seat.
so, this is your prediction? i mean, this was a thread predicting who wins, and you post this. shockingly, positive. why do you even go to the games if you are so down on your team and are already anticipating booing? i mean, LSU is 7-1, #10, and you are not happy. learn to take what you like, leave the rest, and you will have more enjoyment in the season that, hopefully, after a win today leads to the NC - but, that apparently may not be enough for you if it isn't pretty.
To add, the 2002 Buckeyes never really seemed dominant at any real point in their season, in fact they had to take Illinois to overtime. And then in the nc game, they beat Miami, possibly one of the best college teams ever, and most definitely top 3 this decade(2001 Miami, 2002 Miami, 2004 USC, not sure which year USC was, but it was the one where they blew out OU). Bottom line: We're 7-1, #10 in the BCS, and still in the title hunt
